Correct Answer
D
Explanation
DA factor is said to be limiting when an increase in it's quantity will cause a direct increase in the rate of the process. The factory being a chemical one produces chemicals as waste which are deposited on land or in water. The chemicals effect the pH of the land or water-making any of them either acidic or alkaline. The growth and type of plants that can thrive there depends on whether the plants love acidic or alkaline medium.
