D:
Correct Answer
B
Explanation
Nuptial or mating flight is a behavioural adaptation in which the winged reproductives leave an existing colony when the nests are becoming overcrowded especially after a heavy rainfall to establish new colonies. Most of the winged reproductives are eaten up by predators, the few surviving ones loose their wings and pair up. Each pair burrows into the soil to establish a colony.
