Josiah's reforms. He ordered the priest to bring out 2 the vessels made for Baal and Asherah and burn them. He restored the feast of Passover and commanded the people to keep it as it is written in the book of the covenant. Marking the feast of Passover which had been neglected in Israel eyes from the time of the judges. He deposed the idolatrous priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places of the cities of Judah and Jerusalem. He also brought out the Asherah from the house of the Lord and burned it. He abolished witchcraft, sorcery soothsaying, divination and their idols. The Bible records before him there was noking like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses nor did any like him arise after him. 2 Kings 22:16-25
