This exercise is designed for 200 to 500 level students who wish to secure a bed space in the university\u2019s halls of residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The portal will allow eligible students to apply for hostel accommodation and participate in a random balloting system for limited bed spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who Can Apply<\/strong><br>Only students meeting all the following conditions are eligible to participate in the hostel balloting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Currently in 200 to 500 level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed first-semester course registration for 2025\/2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within the regular duration of their programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students not meeting these conditions are advised not to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply for Hostel Accommodation<\/strong><br>Applications are entirely online through the student portal; paper forms are not accepted. Students should:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to their personal student portal during the application window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to the \u201cHostel\u201d or \u201cHall of Residence\u201d section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the hostel accommodation request form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm all details and submit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications can be made simultaneously with course registration, as long as both are completed within the designated dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Window<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Opening:<\/strong> Monday, 17 November 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Closing:<\/strong> Thursday, 20 November 2025 at 11:59 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Late applications after the deadline will not be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hostel Bed Allocation<\/strong><br>All valid applications submitted within the deadline will be included in a random balloting exercise on <strong>Friday, 21 November 2025<\/strong>. Failure to pay may result in forfeiture of the bed space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Students Ineligible for Balloting<\/strong><br>The following groups cannot participate in the hostel balloting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Students already in El-Kannemi Hall 2, Gbajabiamila, Women Society Hostel, and other similar halls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Student Affairs Division maintains the list of ineligible students.
