Candidates were evaluated on their academic achievements, leadership track record, and vision for the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the session, the Selection Board recommended Professor Anyaehie to the Governing Council, which approved the appointment. The office is designated for a single, non-renewable five-year term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Academic Journey and Research Excellence<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Born on 16 November 1971 in Nkwere, Imo State, Professor Anyaehie is a renowned professor of Physiology and Clinical Measurements.
