Planning, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, English, Linguistics, Education, Insurance, Zoology, Environmental Biology, Fine Arts, Architecture,<\/strong> and <strong>Agriculture<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>General Requirements for LASU Job Recruitment 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested applicants are advised to carefully review the criteria for their preferred positions as outlined below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Professor:<\/strong> Minimum of 10 years post-doctoral experience with at least 25 academic publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Associate Professor:<\/strong> Minimum of 8 years post-doctoral experience with at least 20 publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Senior Lecturer:<\/strong> Minimum of 6 years post-doctoral experience with at least 15 publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lecturer I:<\/strong> Minimum of 3 years post-doctoral experience with at least 5 publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lecturer II:<\/strong> PhD in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assistant Lecturer:<\/strong> Master\u2019s degree (M.A., M.Ed., or M.Sc.) in a relevant field with evidence of PhD admission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technologist:<\/strong> M.Sc. in Geography (Climatology or Environmental Geography).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, all candidates must have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Five (5) O\u2019Level credits<\/strong>, including English Language and Mathematics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A minimum of Second-Class Lower Division<\/strong> in their first degree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professional membership<\/strong> (mandatory for senior roles in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply for LASU 2025 Job Recruitment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are required to submit <strong>fifteen (15) copies<\/strong> of their detailed applications along with photocopies of credentials, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>O\u2019Level results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Birth certificate or sworn affidavit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The CV should follow this order:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Personal Data (name, address, contact, marital status, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational Background (schools attended, qualifications)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work Experience and Current Research Activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>List of Publications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Referees\u2019 Contact Information (three referees, one from current employer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date available to assume duty<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>All completed applications should be addressed and sent to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Registrar<\/strong><br>Lagos State University<br>5th Floor, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building<br>Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos State<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> Applications must be received <strong>within six (6) weeks<\/strong> from the date of this publication.
