{"id":7951,"date":"2025-09-09T13:09:17","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T13:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/?p=7951"},"modified":"2025-09-09T13:09:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T13:09:18","slug":"kogi-state-polytechnic-announces-resumption-date-and-key-academic-activities-for-2025-2026-session","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/kogi-state-polytechnic-announces-resumption-date-and-key-academic-activities-for-2025-2026-session\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogi State Polytechnic Announces Resumption Date and Key Academic Activities for 2025\/2026 Session"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Lokoja, Nigeria<\/strong> \u2013 Kogi State Polytechnic has officially released its resumption date and academic calendar for the 2025\/2026 session following an emergency meeting of the Academic Board held on Monday, September 4, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement, signed by the Director of Academic Planning, provides a detailed breakdown of when students are expected back on campus and important academic events to guide the new session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resumption Date<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fresh and returning students<\/strong> (except those on SIWES) are to resume on <strong>Monday, September 15, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SIWES students<\/strong> will resume later on <strong>Monday, December 8, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This staggered resumption plan is designed to reduce congestion and ensure a smoother academic transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration Period<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration for all eligible students begins immediately on <strong>September 15, 2025<\/strong> and will close on <strong>October 10, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Late registration<\/strong> will run from <strong>October 13 to 17, 2025<\/strong>, attracting a penalty fee of <strong>\u20a65,000<\/strong>.<br>Students are strongly advised to register early to avoid unnecessary stress and financial penalties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Orientation and Matriculation for Freshers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Polytechnic has scheduled <strong>orientation and matriculation<\/strong> for new students between <strong>October 27 and 29, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event will not only mark their official entry into the institution but also prepare them for academic and social life on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rector\u2019s Message<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rector, on behalf of the Polytechnic Management and Academic Board, extended warm wishes to both new and returning students.
