Themed <em>\u201cThe Teaching Profession in the 21st Century: Between Theoretical Studies and Practical Realities\u201d<\/em>, the orientation is designed to prepare <strong>final-year (400 level) students<\/strong> in the Faculty of Education for real classroom experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme marks the official launch of the <strong>teaching practice exercise<\/strong>, where student-teachers step beyond textbooks into actual school environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Record Participation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s orientation comes with an impressive figure: <strong>2,170 student-teachers<\/strong> are expected to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each will undergo a <strong>12-week practical exercise<\/strong>, which includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Classroom observation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lesson planning and delivery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classroom management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Real teaching practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why This Matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For students, the orientation is more than a requirement\u2014it\u2019s a <strong>rite of passage<\/strong>.
