The polytechnic went through a rigorous process, including application reviews, quality checks, and a full NBTE verification exercise before receiving the green light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this approval, <strong>Federal Polytechnic Ukana can now run and certify vocational courses across 14 skill areas<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fashion Design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leather Work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paint Making<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Painting and Decoration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Web Application Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer Hardware Maintenance and Repairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mobile Phone Repairs and Maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automobile Mechanic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Repairs and Maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Welding and Fabrication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plumbing and Pipe Fitting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical Installation, Maintenance and Repairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bricklaying, Block Laying and Concreting (Masonry)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carpentry and Joinery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>From tailoring to technology, welding to web development, the approved list covers <strong>skills that directly empower young Nigerians with employable and income-generating opportunities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Certification and Recognition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Training under this new arrangement goes beyond the classroom.
