He noted that candidates are now exploiting technology in alarming ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p><em>\u201cExamination malpractice is something we must fight with every pinch of blood in our veins,\u201d<\/em> Oloyede declared, warning that failing to act could damage Nigeria\u2019s global reputation and deny hardworking students their future.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>While JAMB has already referred about <strong>141 regular malpractice cases<\/strong> to its disciplinary committee, this new panel will specifically focus on \u201cextraordinary\u201d fraud cases, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Finger and image blending<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fake albinism claims<\/strong> to bypass biometric checks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impersonation and result falsification<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Committee\u2019s Mandate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The special panel has been tasked to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Investigate all high-tech malpractice cases in the 2025 UTME.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify tools and methods used to carry out these frauds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review JAMB\u2019s current policies and highlight loopholes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decide the fate of the <strong>6,458 candidates<\/strong> whose results are still on hold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommend appropriate sanctions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Propose long-term solutions to stop future technology-driven exam fraud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a full report within <strong>three weeks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Oloyede stressed the urgency, noting that universities will close admissions in four weeks. Innocent candidates must get their results released on time to avoid missing their chances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Committee Leaders Speak<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairman of the committee, <strong>Dr. Jake Epele<\/strong>, described the assignment as a <em>\u201csacred duty\u201d<\/em>, calling exam malpractice an attack on merit and integrity.
