On <strong>February 14, 2026<\/strong>, the seat of Vice-Chancellor at the Federal University Lokoja (FULokoja) becomes vacant, and the search is officially on for a new leader to steer the fast-rising institution into its next chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in <strong>2011<\/strong>, FULokoja has transformed from just <strong>two faculties<\/strong> into <strong>thirteen<\/strong>, offering over <strong>60 programmes<\/strong>, a <strong>College of Health Sciences<\/strong>, and a <strong>Postgraduate School<\/strong> \u2014 all within just over a decade. The university says it wants a Vice-Chancellor who can match this growth with vision, innovation, and global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the Role Entails<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vice-Chancellor is not just a ceremonial figure.
