{"id":7095,"date":"2025-08-08T11:15:45","date_gmt":"2025-08-08T11:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/?p=7095"},"modified":"2025-08-08T11:15:49","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T11:15:49","slug":"custech-2025-2026-post-utme-direct-entry-screening-begins-heres-everything-you-need-to-know","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/custech-2025-2026-post-utme-direct-entry-screening-begins-heres-everything-you-need-to-know\/","title":{"rendered":"CUSTECH 2025\/2026 Post UTME &amp; Direct Entry Screening Begins \u2014 Here\u2019s Everything You Need to Know"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has officially opened its portal for the <strong>2025\/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you selected CUSTECH as your <strong>first choice<\/strong> in the just-concluded JAMB registration, you&#8217;re already one step closer to joining the university\u2019s fast-growing academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Is Eligible to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Before jumping into the application portal, check if you meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You must have chosen <strong>CUSTECH as your first choice<\/strong> during the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry registration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UTME candidates<\/strong> must:\n<ul>\n<li>Have the <strong>correct subject combination<\/strong> for their chosen course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Score <strong>at least the departmental cut-off mark<\/strong> (see list below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Direct Entry applicants<\/strong> must have:\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>minimum of Lower Credit<\/strong> in ND or HND, or <strong>Merit in NCE<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All applicants (UTME or DE) must have <strong>five O\u2019Level credits<\/strong>, including <strong>English and Mathematics<\/strong>, in not more than <strong>two sittings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Law is <strong>not available<\/strong> for Direct Entry applicants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your UTME score falls short of your preferred course, CUSTECH gives you the option to switch to another course that matches your score and subject combination.
