This competition provides an incredible platform for male undergraduate students across Nigeria to share their voices and perspectives on challenging harmful stereotypes and advocating for equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Essay Topic: Challenging Harmful Stereotypes &#8211; Becoming Allies in the Fight for Equality<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s theme encourages participants to critically examine the stereotypes that restrict both boys and girls, and how young men can become allies in breaking these barriers. As the world continues to make strides toward gender equality, it is essential for boys to play an active role in dismantling the misconceptions that perpetuate inequality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prizes Awaiting the Winners:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition offers not only the opportunity for intellectual engagement but also exciting rewards for outstanding participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1st Place:<\/strong> N70,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2nd Place:<\/strong> N50,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3rd Place:<\/strong> N30,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Top 10 Participants:<\/strong> Mentorship opportunities and special rewards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition aims to inspire and equip young men with the tools they need to become leaders in social change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Participate:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><br>This competition is open to male undergraduate students currently enrolled in Nigerian universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submission Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Essay Length:<\/strong> 800 to 1,000 words.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Topic:<\/strong> Focus on &#8220;Challenging Harmful Stereotypes: Becoming Allies in the Fight for Equality.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> All entries must be submitted between <strong>March 3, 2025, and March 31, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Identification:<\/strong> A photo ID is required to accompany the submission.
