This pivotal role involves overseeing daily administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a structured workforce. The Registrar also serves as the Secretary to the University Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements for the Registrar:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A Second-Class Lower Division degree or higher in a relevant field from a recognized university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A higher degree is an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership in a professional body is mandatory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 15 years of experience in university administration, with a minimum of three years as a Deputy Registrar or Deputy Director.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong leadership skills, excellent organizational ability, and computer literacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants should be physically and mentally fit, and not older than 60 years of age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Librarian Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A Master\u2019s degree in Library and Information Science for Librarians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS), BA, B.Sc, or LLB for Assistant Librarians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong ICT skills are essential for both positions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Librarian positions: Send your application to <em>librarian@gouni.edu.ng<\/em> within two weeks from today.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For all other positions (Registrar, Directors, Public Relations Officer, etc.), submit 20 copies of your detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the Office of the Registrar, Godfrey Okoye University, Thinker\u2019s Corner Campus 1, Enugu.
