Here\u2019s everything you need to know to stay on top of your academic schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>First Semester: Important Dates and Activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Online Registration (100L\u2013500L)<\/strong>: 16th December 2024 \u2013 7th January 2025<br><em>Students can complete their registration online for 23 days.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Returning Students Resumption (300L\u2013500L)<\/strong>: 6th January 2025<br><em>Returning students in the 300L-500L range are expected to resume on this day.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Physical Registration (300L\u2013500L)<\/strong>: 6th \u2013 7th January 2025<br><em>In-person registration for students in these levels will take place over two days.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Late Registration with Fine (300L\u2013500L)<\/strong>: 8th \u2013 12th January 2025<br><em>There will be a five-day window for late registration with an additional fine.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arrival of Fresh 100L, 200L &amp; Returning 200L Students<\/strong>: 8th January 2025<br><em>Freshers and returning 200L students should arrive on this day.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Physical Registration (100L\u2013200L)<\/strong>: 8th \u2013 9th January 2025<br><em>First-year and second-year students can complete their physical registration within two days.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Late Physical Registration with Fine (100L\u2013200L)<\/strong>: 10th \u2013 13th January 2025<br><em>Latecomers can still register with a fine for the next four days.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Matriculation Ceremony<\/strong>: 24th January 2025<br><em>A key event for fresh students to formally join the university community.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Orientation for Fresh Students<\/strong>: 24th \u2013 26th January 2025<br><em>Three days of orientation activities will help newcomers settle into university life.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lectures Begin<\/strong>:<br><em>300L\u2013500L students: 8th January \u2013 28th March 2025 (12 weeks)<\/em><br><em>100L\u2013200L students: 13th January \u2013 28th March 2025 (11 weeks)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add and Drop Period<\/strong>: 10th \u2013 14th February 2025<br><em>Students can make changes to their course registrations during this five-day period.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First Semester Examinations<\/strong>: 7th April \u2013 3rd May 2025<br><em>Exams will take place over four weeks.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inter-Semester Break<\/strong>: 4th \u2013 29th May 2025<br><em>A four-week break follows the completion of first-semester exams.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Second Semester: Key Dates and Deadlines<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Resumption for All Students<\/strong>: 30th May 2025<br><em>All students are expected to resume at the start of the second semester.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Registration for All Students<\/strong>: 30th May \u2013 1st June 2025<br><em>Registration will take place over three days.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Late Registration with Fine<\/strong>: 2nd \u2013 4th June 2025<br><em>Late registration will be available for three days with a fine.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lectures for All Students<\/strong>: 2nd June \u2013 23rd August 2025<br><em>The second-semester lectures will run for 12 weeks.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add and Drop Period<\/strong>: 30th June \u2013 4th July 2025<br><em>Students have five days to make changes to their courses.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second Semester Examinations<\/strong>: 29th August \u2013 28th September 2025<br><em>The final exams for the second semester will take place over four weeks.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vacation for All Students<\/strong>: 29th September \u2013 4th December 2025<br><em>Students will enjoy a long vacation from late September to early December.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Commencement of 2025\/2026 Session<\/strong>: 5th December 2025<br><em>The academic year will begin again in December 2025.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Plan Ahead for the Year<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With the release of the full academic calendar, ATBU students can now plan their semester activities, study schedules, and even vacations.
