This event will officially mark the beginning of university life for all freshers and will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, across two campuses: Abraka and Oleh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matriculation Ceremony Details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The matriculation ceremony will be held at two locations, each with its own schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Abraka Campus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time:<\/strong> 9:00 a.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Convocation Arena, Site III, Abraka<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Students should arrive and be seated by 8:30 a.m. to avoid missing the start.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Oleh Campus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time:<\/strong> 11:00 a.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Venue:<\/strong> 1000-Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Students must be seated by 10:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gown Collection and Return Guidelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fresh students are required to wear academic gowns during the ceremony. Here\u2019s how to go about it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Collection of Gowns:<\/strong> Gowns can be picked up from Faculty Officers starting Monday, January 20, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Gown collection will end on Friday, January 24, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Return of Gowns:<\/strong> Gowns must be returned in good condition by Monday, January 27, 2025. Failure to return the gown on time will result in a penalty of \u20a61,000 for each additional day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Damage or Non-Return Fees:<\/strong> Any gown that is damaged or not returned will incur a replacement cost of \u20a610,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Important Reminder:<\/strong> Gowns must not be rented out to photographers or any third parties. Security will confiscate gowns involved in such activities, and violators will face disciplinary action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attendance and Important Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mandatory Attendance:<\/strong> All new students are required to attend the matriculation ceremony.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Punctuality:<\/strong> Lateness will not be tolerated.
