In a recent appearance before the House of Representatives, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), defended the commission’s decision to hire 300 new staff members without publicly advertising the positions. The House of Representatives ad-hoc committee, currently investigating employment racketeering by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, as well as mismanagement of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS), raised concerns about the hiring process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
