Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU)<\/strong> has officially launched the Change of Course<\/strong> application for the 2024\/2025 academic session. Starting from Tuesday, November 11, 2024<\/strong>, students looking to switch courses now have the opportunity to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university\u2019s Vice-Chancellor has given the green light for the process, providing students with a chance to realign their academic paths based on their performance and future goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Can Apply?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)<\/strong> between 0.25 and 1.80<\/strong> are eligible to apply for a course change. Before applying, students are advised to seek guidance from both the Head of the Department (HOD)<\/strong> they are leaving and the HOD of the department they wish to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

  1. Consult the HODs<\/strong>: Speak with both your current and prospective department heads to ensure the change is feasible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Use your current results<\/strong>: Applicants should fill out the form based on their second-semester results, unless the semester was deferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Payment Evidence<\/strong>: Ensure that the Change of Course form, which can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)<\/strong>, is submitted alongside proof of payment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
