This initiative, approved by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Carol Arinze Umobi, aims to enhance the affordability of education at the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s New? A Summary of Fee Reductions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNIZIK has implemented a total cut of <strong>\u20a69,500<\/strong> in ICT-related fees. Here are the key changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Single ICT Charge:<\/strong> Students will now pay a one-time fee for all ICT services, simplifying the payment process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Abolished Fees:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Application Fee:<\/strong> Removed, saving students <strong>\u20a62,000<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Duplicate Orientation Fee:<\/strong> Eliminated, resulting in savings of <strong>\u20a63,500<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reduced Fees:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General Studies Publications Fee:<\/strong> Decreased from <strong>\u20a612,000<\/strong> to <strong>\u20a68,000<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transcript Fees:<\/strong> A significant <strong>50% reduction<\/strong> on all transcript fees has been approved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Efficient Management of Transcript Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recommendations from the ICT Committee, which advocated for better management of transcript processing within the university, have been fully accepted by Professor Umobi.
