This decision was confirmed during the 539th Regular Meeting of the Senate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Dates to Remember<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are eligible for the resit, mark these key dates on your calendar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Registration<\/strong>: Opens on Monday, October 21, 2024, and closes on Saturday, October 26, 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Revision Period<\/strong>: Runs from Monday, October 21, 2024, to Saturday, November 2, 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Examination Dates<\/strong>: Scheduled from Monday, November 4, 2024, to Saturday, November 9, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Examination Fees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students should also be aware of the associated fees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Registration Fee<\/strong>: \u20a610,000.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Charge per Course<\/strong>: \u20a65,000.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Is Eligible?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Special Resit Examination is available to specific groups of students who are unable to graduate due to outstanding courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Final Year Students<\/strong>: Those with no more than four (4) outstanding courses are eligible. Final year students whose residency has not expired can decide whether to participate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Veterinary Medicine Students<\/strong>: 300, 500, and 600 level students in this faculty are eligible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medical Sciences Students<\/strong>: 300 level students in pre-clinical programs may also take the resit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Special Resit Examination, students can only earn the minimum passing score for their courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Classified Degrees<\/strong>: Maximum score of 40%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unclassified Degrees<\/strong>: Maximum score of 50%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Thoughts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you qualify for this resit opportunity, prepare diligently and ensure you meet all registration deadlines.
