{"id":10948,"date":"2026-01-28T10:13:23","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T10:13:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/?p=10948"},"modified":"2026-01-28T10:13:26","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T10:13:26","slug":"sazu-to-matriculate-fresh-students-january-28","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/sazu-to-matriculate-fresh-students-january-28\/","title":{"rendered":"SAZU to Matriculate Fresh Students January 28"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sa\u2019adu Zungur University (SAZU) has officially announced the date and guidelines for its <strong>2025\/2026 matriculation ceremony<\/strong> for newly admitted students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a notice issued by the <strong>Matriculation Committee<\/strong> and signed on behalf of the university, SAZU confirmed that the ceremony will hold on <strong>Wednesday, January 28, 2026<\/strong>, and will be conducted <strong>simultaneously at two campuses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matriculation Date and Venues<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> Wednesday, 28 January 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Venues:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gadau Campus<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Yuli Campus<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The university explained that the dual-campus arrangement means the same matriculation ceremony will run at the same time in different locations. Fresh students are therefore advised to <strong>attend the ceremony at the campus they have been assigned to<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matriculation Fee and Payment Method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All fresh students are required to pay a <strong>non-refundable matriculation fee of \u20a61,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Payment platform:<\/strong> Remita<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Purpose:<\/strong> Academic gown collection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students must present their <strong>Remita payment receipt<\/strong> at the designated collection point before they can receive an academic gown. The rule is clear: <strong>no receipt, no gown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Academic Gown Collection and Return<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SAZU stated that gown collection is strictly tied to proof of payment. After the matriculation ceremony, students are required to <strong>return the academic gown on or before Friday, January 30, 2026<\/strong>, at the same collection point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Late Return Penalty<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The university warned that failure to return the gown by the deadline will attract a <strong>late return penalty of \u20a65,000<\/strong>.
