According to the announcement, the holiday will begin on <strong>Monday, December 22, 2025<\/strong>, and run through <strong>Friday, January 2, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vice-Chancellor, <strong>Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba<\/strong>, stated that while academic and routine administrative activities will be on hold during the period, <strong>essential university units will remain operational<\/strong> to handle critical duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full academic and administrative activities are scheduled to <strong>resume on Monday, January 5, 2026<\/strong>. Students have been advised to return to campus ahead of the resumption date to adequately prepare for lectures and other academic engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the <strong>Governing Council, Senate, and Management<\/strong>, Professor Asagba extended Christmas greetings to staff and students.
