{"id":10525,"date":"2025-12-16T09:04:47","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T09:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/?p=10525"},"modified":"2025-12-16T09:04:48","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T09:04:48","slug":"uniabuja-announces-end-of-year-break-for-staff-and-students-activities-resume-january-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/examkits.com\/blog\/uniabuja-announces-end-of-year-break-for-staff-and-students-activities-resume-january-5\/","title":{"rendered":"UNIABUJA Announces End-of-Year Break for Staff and Students, Activities Resume January 5"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has officially approved an end-of-year break for staff and students, suspending all academic and administrative activities to allow the university community observe the festive season and prepare for the new year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UNIABUJA End-of-Year Break: What You Need to Know<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from the university management, UNIABUJA will be closed for all academic and administrative operations <strong>from Wednesday, December 17, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this period:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Lectures will not hold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official meetings are suspended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offices across the university will remain closed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Normal academic and administrative activities are scheduled to <strong>resume on Monday, January 5, 2026<\/strong>, when students and staff are expected to return to campus and continue their duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Staff Exempted from the Break<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While the closure applies broadly across the institution, the university clarified that <strong>staff assigned to essential services are exempted<\/strong> from the break.
