Bakare-Odunola<\/strong>, and applies to <strong>all academic staff and students<\/strong> of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Students and Lecturers Need to Know<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the memo, the university has outlined a structured schedule to ensure smooth teaching, assessment, and examination processes throughout the Harmattan Semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>End of Harmattan Semester Lectures<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Harmattan Semester lectures will officially <strong>end on Friday, 16 January 2026<\/strong>. However, all departments are required to <strong>complete lectures on or before Friday, 9 January 2026<\/strong>, allowing time for academic wrap-up activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lecture-Free Week<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>UNILORIN has designated <strong>Monday, 19 January to Friday, 23 January 2026<\/strong> as a <strong>lecture-free week<\/strong>. During this period, <strong>no lectures will hold<\/strong>, giving lecturers adequate time to finalize and submit students\u2019 assessment records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Upload of Continuous Assessment (CA) Scores<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The university\u2019s academic portal will be <strong>open from Monday, 19 January to Friday, 23 January 2026<\/strong> for the upload of <strong>Continuous Assessment scores and other approved academic results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lecturers are expected to complete all uploads within this window to avoid delays ahead of examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Harmattan Semester Examinations<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Harmattan Semester examinations<\/strong> will commence on <strong>Monday, 26 January 2026<\/strong>, and run through <strong>Friday, 13 February 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why This Matters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>UNILORIN management emphasized that <strong>strict adherence to these dates<\/strong> is essential for maintaining academic stability and ensuring a seamless examination process.
