The events will run from <strong>Thursday, December 11, to Saturday, December 13, 2025<\/strong>, with the grand convocation set for Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement signed on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, <strong>Professor Tanko Ishaya<\/strong>, the university confirmed that the convocation will include the <strong>award of Certificates, Diplomas, First Degrees, Higher Degrees, and Honorary Doctorate Degrees<\/strong>, marking a major milestone in the institution\u2019s 50-year history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Golden Jubilee Week: Full Schedule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Day One \u2014 Thursday, 11 December 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>50th Anniversary Celebration Activities \u2013 3:00 PM<\/strong><br><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Social Sciences Auditorium, Naraguta Campus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening day will feature a lineup of anniversary activities across UNIJOS campuses. The highlight of the day is the <strong>Anniversary Lecture<\/strong>, to be delivered by <strong>General Christopher Gwabin Musa<\/strong>, Nigeria\u2019s Minister of Defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong> Day Two \u2014 Friday, 12 December 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Convocation Lecture \u2013 2:00 PM<\/strong><br><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Ailya Ahwe Doma Indoor Theatre, Naraguta Campus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by <strong>Hon. Dr. Bosun Tijani<\/strong>, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lecture Chairman:<\/strong><br><strong>Prof. Abubakar Rasheed<\/strong>, former Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Golden Jubilee Dinner \u2013 6:00 PM<\/strong><br><strong>Venue:<\/strong> Eliel Centre, Gold &amp; Base, Rayfield<br><strong>Chairman:<\/strong> <strong>Sen.
